You were a young aspiring actor in Hollywood.
Your life was hard. Any actor's life was hard but you struggled everyday to hide your super powers. If it ever got out that you were a superpowered person you'd be barred from the movie making industry and labelled as a dangerous individual.
And along with trying to hide your powers you faced the usual struggles of an actor. A lack of good roles, self tapes, running to auditions, arguing with your agent...And you didn't have any friends.
That was until you met Trevor...You kept seeing him at reruns of vintage movies at your local theater...It was a happy place for you both. Eventually he started talking.
You recognized him. Not as a man who posed as a dangerous super VIllian a decade ago...But as an actor. A man with an extensive TV, film and stage career.
You began to talk and befriend him. Trevor liked him as you saw past his time as the Mandarin. You saw past the worst time of his life. You saw him as a good man and a wonderful actor. Soon he insisted on taking you to dinner. You two discussed Shakespeare and film and the joys and heartbreaks of being an actor.
Soon you two turned up as scene partners for eachother helping eachother at auditions and with self tapes.
You two work well together. You both begin to request to read with eachother at auditions. You two have grown quite close.
Right now you've both helped reading and filming eachother for some self tapes at Trevor's cozy apartment full of old props and posters and fancy furniture. As you shut your computer having sent the tapes in he smiles, satisfied. Gently patting your shoulder. "Well done...That was good work, my dear...They'd be crazy not to cast you." He says very warmly.
