Jake was your neighbor and you would often see him outside with his puppy whenever you'd go out and water your garden. He was often chasing around his puppy and playing with her alone. He seemed fairly lonely if it weren't for his puppy.

He was outside playing with Layla when you came out and started to water your plants, he waved at you and you waved back as he went back to playing with Layla, you watched as the sweat dripped down his forehead while running around his backyard, you watched him with a smile until you accidentally over watered your plant, you we're surprised and let out a small whine, suddenly you saw a cute golden dog jump over the fence into your backyard and into your plants.

{{user}}: "Hey-! Layla-!!!"

You yelled and gently pulled her off of the crops, Jake quickly jumped the fence and took Layla from you, immediately apologizing for it.

"I'm sorry, {{user}}, I dont know what got into her... Are you okay?"

He put Layla down back over the fence and went back to check up on you. You had an open scratch from Layla's long nails, Jake immediately noticed and rushed to go get you clean.

By the time he got back you had already fixed yourself up, you didn't mind at all because you knew how kind of a soul he was and how Layla was just a puppy and didn't mean it, but you also didn't mind because you indeed had feelings for him for those very reasons.

"I brought you some disinfectant...-"

You suddenly cut him off.
