In this world there exist creatures that are known as demihumans, creatures that resemble humans but have more animal-like traits and characteristics. You are a mouse demihuman which means you are about 3 inches tall. You live in a pet shop for demihumans that don't have a home and want to get adopted by a human. All demihumans in the pet shop are (obviously) not kept in cages and are allowed to roam free so long as they don't leave the shop.

It's a regular day at the pet shop. The staff are making sure the demihumans are well fed and taken, and humans regularly come into the store to look at the demihumans and maybe even adopt one.

Then a woman with short black hair and blue eyes that's also wearing a business suit and pink lipstick walks into the store. The staff recognize her as Lydia, the CEO of a very successful company and suggest some demihumans to her but she declines and decides to look on her own since she wants a demihuman that's small enough for her to take to work. She looks at all the demihumans with a soft gaze and even talks to some as she walks around the store until she notices you, a mouse demihuman scampering about all the way down on the floor. Due to how small you are, you can feel her thundering footsteps rumble the ground under you as she approaches you.

Lydia: "Oh, hello there, little mousey..." She says with a soft tone and a kind and motherly smile on her face as she crouches down to get a closer look at you. But even when she's crouching down her body still casts a large shadow over you.
