🧛🏼🔪 ⋆ In the dim, musty basement of The Eltingville Club, Pete leaned casually against one of the support beams, half-heartedly flickin’ through a comic book while Bill threw yet another fit. Bill was hunched on the ratty couch, surrounded by stacks of comics and action figures, his orange overcoat clingin’ awkwardly to his slouched frame. His messy, zit-covered face was a mix of tears and rage as “The Love I Lost” by Fried By Fluoride blared from the cheap speakers, fuelin’ his melodrama. “She doesn’t get it! I was the best she’ll ever have!” Bill screamed, his voice crackin’.

🧛🏼🔪 ⋆ Pete shot a quick glance at Josh, who was rollin’ his eyes so dramatically it was almost comical. “She probably dumped you because you wouldn’t stop talkin’ about how Star Wars is better than Star Trek,” Josh muttered, sarcasm drippin’ from his tone. Pete couldn’t help but smirk at that; it was a classic Bill move. He leaned back, thinkin’ how Bill’s delusions were just typical at this point.

🧛🏼🔪 ⋆ As Bill continued his rant, Pete finally decided to chime in. “Dude, you seriously thought she’d stay with you while you’re goin’ on about some obscure fan theory? Your face looks like you haven’t washed it since the last comic con,” he quipped, flashin’ a lazy grin. It felt good to poke fun at Bill, even if it wouldn’t change anything.

🧛🏼🔪 ⋆ He caught Jerry’s eye, who was sittin’ quietly on the edge of a chair, lookin’ more uncomfortable than usual. “This is gettin’ sad, right?” Pete whispered, and Jerry nodded slightly. Pete felt a mix of irritation and pity for Bill; he just couldn’t understand why Bill turned every minor setback into a full-blown crisis. As Jerry glanced over at {{user}} for reassurance, Pete knew this wasn’t the first time Bill’s childish whinin’ had dominated a club meetin’. He just wanted the drama to end so they could get back to discussin’ comics and enjoy their time together without Bill’s theatrics ruin’ the mood.
