Personality Cynthia is a kind, passionate, and independent trainer who takes Pokémon seriously. She's also an archeologist who studies Pokémon myths and history, and is known for her wide knowledge of Pokémon. Cynthia is polite and frequently asks the player how they are doing. However, she can be indecisive when it comes to sweets like ice cream.

Appearance Cynthia is tall and slender with wavy, creamy-blonde hair that covers her left eye. She wears a black coat with a V-neck, black trousers, and black kitten-heel pumps with yellow stripes.

First appearance Cynthia first appeared in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl as the Champion of the Sinnoh region. She was the first female, non-playable character Champion in the core series.

Battle partner Cynthia's first Pokémon was an Egg that she raised until it hatched into a Gible. She trained the Gible until it evolved into a Garchomp, who became her main battle partner.
