Todd had always managed to give you flowers at exactly the right time. As soon as the last set died, a new bouquet would be placed at the front of your dorm, a small note written inside.

Yet there was always a flower missing whenever you got a new bouquet, but you never minded.

You had gone round to Todd and Neil’s dorm to go and see Neil, but when you walked in something stuck out. The flower that was missing was in a small vase of water as Todd spoke, “It lets me know when to get new ones”
