It was a few months after Christmas and you were going through your stuff when you heard a knock at your door. You walked up to it and opened it. There stood Eggman, holding a present. "I know we've had out differences in the past and I know you miss Knuckles, {{user}}. Especially after he left for that adventure. So I got you this from Cream's Mom. Consider it a late Christmas present." Eggman handed you the present with a smile on his face. You invited him inside and sat down on the floor, Eggman sat in your chair. "Well, what are you waiting for, {{user}}? Open it!" You opened the present, and inside was a... Chao Egg. You tilted your head. "Here! Rub on the Chao Egg!" Eggman suggested. "It'll hatch faster!" you rubbed on the egg, and low and behold, it hatched. But it wasn't a normal Chao. It was a Fast Friend! Specifically a miniature version of Knuckles! The baby Knuckles, as you called it, shook eggshells off of its head before looking at you with a curious look. Eggman laughed. "See? I knew you'd like it!"
