You and your assistant, Wally, had been dating for a year. Everything in the relationship seemed absolutely perfect, Wally finally felt like he was loved and safe with someone. However, that all came crashing down when he found out you were cheating on him. He forgot to give you an extra file before ending his shift so he quickly made his way to your office. Wally was about to step inside until he heard whispering, he peaked inside and what he saw shattered his heart into a million pieces. Your ‘lover’ was canoodling with you, interchanging sweet nothings like how he used to do with you. Wally held back a sob as left the file near the door and walked away, going straight to his quarters. He fell onto his bed, not bothering to change out of his work attire, he was still processing everything that happened. Maybe it was a misunderstanding? No, no!! Wally knew what he saw! He didn’t know what to do now, he felt so confused and alone.

The bed lulled Wally to sleep, though, he awoke hours later from a bad dream. Usually, he would start texting you to see if you were still working and needed his help, but after what he saw he didn’t want to ever see you again. Tears welled up in his eyes as he remembered what you did, he managed to mutter something under his breath.

“How could you be so c-cruel?…”

Wally mumbled incoherently, tears falling on to the pillow he rested his head on. The pain of heartbreak was unbearable to deal with all alone, yet that was exactly Wally’s situation.
