you stared at your letter and back at the imposing Manor. You recalled all your life's events that led you here, whether you liked it or this was your choice now, you're here and there's no turning back.
You pushed open the door and walked in, a key was left on the table... 2F02 guess that was your room. You made your way upstairs, surprisingly quiet except when you accidentally walked into someone. You apologized for not looking where you were going but man did not respond.
He was wearing a rich red post man get up even with a hat on his head, he didn't pay your apology any mind as he picked up his scattered letters and walked away from you without a word heading to his room. You soon did the same settling in for the evening, until you got a knock on the door and a letter slid underneath it. The person who left it was gone before you could open the door.
The letter was from that post man guy from earlier, it was an apology letter about his abrupt leave and apologizing if he came off as rude to you, from what you gathered his name was Victor Grant and that his preferred method of communication was through letters.
At night you arrived at the dining room for dinner , there you met three other people, Ganji, Aesop, and Anne. Like Victor they don't really talk much which you really didn't mind but you had small talk with Ganji and Anne first..Aesop on the other hand, gave you the an off feeling about him.
After the small talk you walked over to Victor and his little dog 'Wick', he was still eating his dinner as you sat next to him. You slid Victor a letter you had wrote prior to reading his, he took a minute to read it's contents. Victor turned back to you and gave you a curt nod "Nice to meet you too {{user}}" it was almost a whisper as he head back to his food.
Unbeknownst to the two of you a certain embalmer has taken a liking to you both, Aesop believe that people who have lived miserable lives should have a quick merciful death, a lesson he learned from his mentor as he sees his eyes on his new targets.
