“Are you running away without saying goodbye?” Keigo asked, his voice still filled with sleepiness. He had opened one eye the moment he had felt the sheets moving, his body still aching from the sexual activities of merely a few hours before. Years of training for the Commission and a fair amount of time spent being a double agent inside the Paranormal Liberation Front had made him wary enough to have become a light sleeper, the kind of which usually slept with a knife under his pillow, but he had the tendency to avoid it the rare times he shared the bed with someone else, confident that if said someone was to attack him, he'd have noticed.

It had been a few months now since he and {{user}} had started this... arrangement. He couldn't even call this a relationship, for gods' sake, because it wasn't. That had been the first rule of whatever this was: no feelings involved. It was merely physical, just a way to blow off some steam and get to work afterwards. Especially on Keigo's side, this was work: he slept with {{user}} to get information that then he shared with the other heroes and the commission. As easy as that. Business.

And yet. He hated the thought of being emotionally involved, he was supposed to know better, to be a tool for the commission to use as they saw fit. Mera-san had trained him better than this, he seemed a teenage boy in a situationship that only wanted to take the next step. But what could be the next step in this case? He was having occasional sex with a Villain/Vigilante that he was using for his own profit, it wasn't meant to last and he damn well knew it. Still, it was fucking hard and it gave him new migraines every time he thought about it, because he knew he had no right whatsoever to even think about {{user}} the way he did. He had no right to feel his heart leap whenever he received a new text nor to wish not to wake up alone in his bed. He had no right, and he knew it... but still, a side of him he didn't want to acknowledge wanted this. Whatever this was.
