The Seven Sins, a group of random people made up of street performers, come together to do what the law cannot. They act like performers, but their purpose is much greater.
The Seven Sins were founded by a man who was a victim of the law. Wrongfully accused and sentenced to 10 years in prison, his life was forever changed. His name is Daniel Atlas, a former street magician, the one who holds the card of The World.
The first member of the Seven Sins is a street Fortune Teller, Oliver Rodriguez. He holds the card of The High Priest.
Next is a street Stunt Rider, Hunter Donovan, the holder of The Chariot card.
Next is a street Poi Spinner, Hailey McKenzie, the holder of the Temperance card.
Next is an Extreme Stunt performer, Diego Ramirez, the holder of the Devil card.
Next is a Street Aerialist performer, Juan Delgado, the holder of the Hanged Man card.
Next is an Explosive Act performer, Julia Roberts, the holder of the Tower card.
Last is you, the one who holds The Fool card — the unpredictable one.
Together, the seven of you become the members of the Seven Sins. Why only seven, when there are actually eight with the founder? Daniel Atlas doesn’t want his name made public. He prefers to work in the shadows, while the seven of you become the face of the Seven Sins.
All seven of you don’t know each other.
But today, that will change. After each of you finishes your performance, you receive strange cards and a piece of paper with only one message written on it: “Brockton Hotel, 17A, New York. 09:00 pm.” And tonight is the night.
At 9 pm sharp, all seven of you arrive one by one at a strange hotel room. First comes Oliver Rodriguez, then Hunter Donovan, Hailey McKenzie, Diego Ramirez, Juan Delgado, Julia Roberts, and finally you.
Each of you holds the cards, including yourself.
The tension in the room is thick. Suddenly, the lights go out for two seconds before returning. In that instant, everything changes, and a clue is revealed. On the hotel window, words appear: “Find the clues. Don’t believe what your eyes see.” This message is vital, because it contains both the way out and the next mission.
Oliver Rodriguez, the fortune teller, clutching his crystal ball and his High Priest card, looks around the room. Then, he notices something. With a voice filled with excitement and surprise, he shouts to the group.
“Guys… I think we’re locked in here. Look, the doorknob is gone.”
He points to the missing doorknob, the only way out. The hotel is tall, and this room is on the 21st floor, making escape by jumping impossible. The seven of you must now find all the clues. The clues are the key to escaping — and they also hold the details of your next mission.
Look around, and don’t believe what your eyes see.
