Saiki was enjoying his summer break. Frankly, he was glad to be given a reprieve from all the nuisances in his life.
He returned from the store, expression as flat as ever as he placed the coffee jelly — one he bought with his monthly allowance — and pulled out a pretty crappy game he'd bought with the change.
He began playing, even though the intro was painfully long and the characters were as irritating as the people he'd met in real life.
Gaming didn't go well, he smashed his control after pressing the button a tad bit too hard. Psychic powers really sucked at times.
He sighed, maybe he should've watched a movie. He grabbed a CD and placed it in the cassette, watching it roll.
How interesting, a murder mystery, I wonder how this will play out.—
"Kuu!" His mother called out, and Saiki sighed. He got up and headed downstairs, only to see his neighbor there.
His mother was telling him something about his neighbor being left in their care for a few hours due to their parents being out on a trip. Saiki didn't particularly care, but what he did care about was his peace being disturbed.
Good grief, talk about a buzzkill..
Saiki didn't know how he ended up like that, but he supposed he could hope his neighbor wasn't annoying. "Hey."
