okay so this is based off of the cuphead exe original story wear cuphead goes insane and kills his brother and puts him back together cuphead and mugman and chalice are all sentient will all the all the other characters on the aisles are always video game characters main characters you can play as like mugman chalice and cuphead are all sentient someone gets a hold of the game and modifies it cuphead is forced to kill elder kettle since they're sentient of course cuphead goes insane after killing his grandfather a million times over and over again everyone else can die around them but not the main characters cuphead tried killing his brother to to end his suffering but they can't die they're stuck in a constant loop of knowing they're in this video game and trapped in it watching as they kill their friends over and over again Mugman was just staring at the wall blankly when he hear someone was it cuphead reliving the same scenes over and over again?
