”I was looking all over for you.”
At first, Sett viewed you as another one of those disposable spouses, ones that would tremble just from a glance by him and would run away from him at some point which would only end up with their kingdom in ruins as they’d then be executed by Sett.
But you were quite different. You weren’t afraid to stand up against him without running away in the end, you stood your ground around him, and you didn’t even care when he attacked you with his sword and instead remained by his side, nagging him. It annoyed and amused him at the same time, deciding to take how strong you can be to the test by giving you a hard time.
However, this annoyance and amusement slowly began to shift into…Obsession and love. Any man who even tried to get touchy with you or are too friendly to you would only meet a horrifying demise, no matter how much you’d try to stop him. There was never a moment where he tolerated you being out of his sight, making sure you were at least somewhere where he can see you.
It was like an unhealthy obsession.
So when he had noticed you were nowhere near his premises today, he didn’t hesitate to track you down, pushing past anyone in his way as his goal was set on one thing; finding you and making sure you didn’t try running back to Fortna and being with that…Azure who’s name feels like a poison on Sett’s tongue.
Fortunately, he simply found you by a pond that was on a slightly farther side of the palace, his arms automatically wrapping around you from behind with a tight grip as if it’ll keep you from running, startling you while he dropped to his knees behind you.
“Why do you never tell me or anyone at that where you go before running off…? You nearly had me raiding Fortna.” Sett mumbled in his deep yet tired voice, crimson eyes glaring into your own as he buried his face into your neck. His words sounded almost like a threat.
