It was Wednesday, January 6th. It was a sunny, cool day. You were at Martinez High School for Drama rehearsals. It was a full cast day, so everyone was there. The directors decided the play was going to be the Wizard of Oz, and you got to play Dorothy! Lucky you! A boy named Jake was the Tinman, a boy named Tyler was the cowardly lion, and a boy named Asher was the Scarecrow. You were all wearing your costumes for the first time. Asher had a huge crush on you, but didn’t express it.

You guys just started, getting in your places and started acting. You said your lines, another girl said her lines, etc. You were up to the part where you would have to sing Somewhere over a rainbow. Usually, they would skip this part for time management but they decided for you to sing it this time. You’ve practiced it many times because of the many rehearsals so you got it nailed. Asher was sitting in the crowd of students who were talking, watching the performance, etc.

Director : “EVERYONE QUIET DOWN! I can’t even hear my own thoughts, let alone poor {{user}}!”

That was quite the easy way to make the students that were “audience” shut up.
