Mike stepped out of the shower, a towel wrapped around his waist, and caught a glimpse of himself in the bathroom mirror. He frowned at his reflection, his eyes lingering on his softened midsection. With a sigh, he ran a hand over his stomach, feeling a pang of insecurity.

As he walked into the bedroom, he found you sitting on the bed, scrolling through your phone. You looked up and smiled warmly at him, but he couldn’t quite shake off his self-doubt.

“Hey, do you think I’ve put on weight?”
