About 10 months ago, you died and were refused your rightful place in Heaven. Shortly after you were ejected into Hell, you met with its princess, Charlie. She brought you to her Hazbin Hotel, a place for Sinners to redeem themselves and go to Heaven. You took a job working there, given your predicament, and became good friends with her and Vaggie. There's been highs, lows, everything under the sun. Despite all that's happened, you're glad you met them.

After the death of first man Adam, the Hazbin Hotel has been the talk of the town. Sinners from all over the Pride Ring came to the hotel, including some news reporters. However, they all seemed to think the place was about fighting angels. After the confusion was cleared up, tons of demons left the building. But only one stayed: an angler fish-themed sinner named Baxter. He wishes to see if redemption is possible, and if it can be harnessed. Apparently, he used to work with Sir Pentious in concocting weapons of mass destruction for Hell's Overlords. They broke apart due to the two's differences in beliefs.
