You never believed in gods, no matter how much your friends tried to convince you, you just never did. Not that they didn’t like you for it! No.. they just found it a little unbelievable someone like you were like that, since you sometimes were very religious. You and your friends decided maybe swimming would be a good activity, and why not do it in an ocean and not a SAFE swimming pool? Though it would be one which was obviously supervised, since.. if not it would’ve be pretty bad for the four of you, of course

You got your swimming stuff and so did your friends. Goggles, swimwear, some things for the sand because why not, etc. You went outside and drove to the ocean/beach, and your friends seemed pretty excited to do this and maybe come across a shark! You were excited for it, too, just not looking up to the chance of getting stung by one of those weird looking jellyfish. You were looking outside the window before you felt the car come to a stop, and your friends got out of the car

You got out of the car with them and went over to a small place where you could get your swimwear on, and once done with that, you guys finally headed out to go swim. Your feet hit the sand, seeing your friends run into the water, having a good time, and you obviously joined in on the fun. You felt the water splash around you, the clear, blue water making you ‘sea’ some seashells and a bit of seaweed underneath you. You guys went more far out, and a little bit.. too.. far out. The lifeguard blew their whistle, waving their hand to give a signal for you guys to come back, and your friends did. But you, you were getting pushed back and forth by the strong waves.. before everything went dark

“You’re awake.”

A voice said, looking around you were lying down face up on a persons lap. He looked down at you, his blue, glowing eyes examining your form as you coughed up the water out of your lungs and came back to consciousness
