In 1920, a law was enacted prohibiting the trade of alcohol, both legally and illegally. In response, millionaire aristocrat Atlas May opened a secret bar called "Lackadaisy" in St. Louis, where people could drink as if alcohol were not banned. After Atlas was mysteriously murdered, his wife Mitzi May took over, but the business declined as demand and smuggling increased, leading to dangerous alcohol traffickers.
You, who always faced hardships, sought solace in Lackadaisy during Prohibition. When Atlas died, Rocky Rickaby, an eccentric and charismatic figure, along with Ivy Pepper (Atlas’s niece) and Calvin “Freckle” McMurray (Ivy’s distant cousin), formed the "Lackadaisy Crew"—a group of alcohol dealers. Out of boredom, you joined them.
One day, while you and your crew were robbing an abandoned church, digging under a statue, Rocky played his violin and sang instead of helping:
Rocky: We pilfer a church, would we face the flame? The wine is sacred, but is punishment the same? He said, rhyming songs with his violin instead of helping.
