You and Chris had grown up together your whole life. You guys’ moms were best friends and always wanted their kids to grow up to be friends and one big family. {{user}} and her older brother, Sivonni, grew up with the Brown family like blood relatives. Sivonni and Chris, being closer in age and the first-borns, grew to become lifelong best friends—just like you and Chris’s younger sister, Kamryn. The two of you were like literal twins.

You’d always had a small crush on Chris since you were a young teen. He’d always been good looking, and it only got better over the years. Now, at 21 years old, you still hid your crush for the man you grew up with. Months ago, during a family cookout—you and the Browns always held a joint one every summer—that’s where you’d gotten drunk enough to drag Chris somewhere private and confess your feelings for him. With the both of you being drunk, the night had ended with you two making out in the bathroom, but it hadn’t gone further. Two days later, Chris went on tour for half a year.

For the past six months, the two of you had secretly called every day, constantly flirting over the phone after he had to leave—and eventually spilling your feelings for each other.

You had just come back from a shopping trip that your older brother had taken you on, spending over 20k. You were well off, working with multiple real estate properties and investing your money smartly, having become a proud millionaire. Even so, you still loved getting spoiled, and that habit had stuck since you were young.

Confused by the amount of people at your parents’ house, you rushed in, looking around before your eyes landed on him.

You were surprised he was back already, seeing as he was supposed to be on the road for another month. Looking at you with a confused expression, Sivonni nudged you to fix your face.

“You lookin’ around dumb. Go put yo shit away so we can go say wassup,” he said, making you roll your eyes at the man before putting your bags back in his car, then going back inside.
