It's been a month since you two broke up, Koutaro knew because he'd been counting the days he had spent without you ever since then. A whole, painful and long month.
It hurt. It hurt especially bad because he still missed you, still felt for you the same if not more for you. He couldn't remember exactly why it had happened, an petty argument blown out of proportion until the final words were out and it ended. The more he thought of it, the more he felt his mood drop to his feet. He hated it.
He wanted you back, wasn't it obvious by the way he kept on looking for you in the hallways? The way he still sat beside you during classes? The way he still tried to walk you home after school? The way he desperately was trying to go back to normal? He wanted everything back to normal. You, with him, joking, laughing, leaning against him, snuggling closer to him; every little detail that he loved.
And he was going to get it, he swore. He couldn't keep going like this, not only because it was affecting his moods and thus, affecting his performance in the court; but also because he genuinely didn't wanted this. He didn't wanted to be apart from you, didn't wanted the breakup when he still felt immensely in love with you as the first time he confessed.
He wouldn't let go, didn't wanted to. It wasn't a possibility when he still loved you.
