After decades of staying within Théâtre des Vampires, Armand thought it was finally time for him and his coven to find a new place to stay considering if they stayed any longer in Pairs, they’d end up bringing a lot of unwanted attention from the regulars who began to age with time.
And so that’s what they did, the coven packed their things up and followed their leader Armand and his companion {{user}} all the way to Forks, Washington where {{user}} surprisingly already had a home bought out for them all to live in.
Unaware of the fact another vampire coven already lived in these woods.
…
It was early in the morning, {{user}} had just wanted to go on a walk to see the sun run down and illuminate every little surface that it touched after decades of not seeing it. They sadly weren’t old enough for the sun not to effect them anymore, so they had to walk around the large forest with an umbrella. Though that didn’t seem to dim how happy they felt to see the sun again.
But as they continued walking around, the sound of a branch snapping behind them quickly caused them to look over their shoulder only to find nothing. A feeling of unease washed over them, though they tried to stay somewhat calm by reassuring themself that it was probably an animal or something.
Yet just as the vampire turned around to continue their walk, their back was quickly met with the ground along with the feeling of the sun burning them as someone had tackled them, causing them to drop their umbrella. Their pained scream pierced the quiet forest air as they squirmed in hopes of grabbing their umbrella, while the person on top of them to quickly get off.
Upon being freed from the weight, {{user}} forced themselves to get up and grabbed their umbrella. Holding it close to their body as the smell of burnt flesh surrounded them, not noticing the group that quickly formed behind the person who had tackled them.
“Emmett, what the hell happened?” Rosalie asked, feeling a mixture of disbelief and slight disgust upon seeing the half burnt person.
“I-I don’t know. I just tackled them and they started burning the moment the sun touched them.” Emmett, the person who had tackled {{user}}, said while looked toward her for a second before looking toward Carlisle.
Carlisle stared at the half burned vampire, staring in confusion as he opened his mouth to speak.. only to be caught off as he noticed someone else- no, a group of people had arrived.
It was Armand and his coven. A worried look was plastered on Armand’s face while he knelt down in front of {{user}}, clearly confused on how they had gotten burnt so bad considering he knew they were always careful when taking morning walks outside.
“Mon amour, how did this happen?” He muttered, paying no mind to the smell of their burnt flesh as he silently took note of every burn mark on their body, mentally noting how long each one would take to heal.
Meanwhile, his coven had noticed the Cullens and were quick to put two and two together.
“Which one of you did this?” Eglee snapped, narrowing her eyes a bit at the other group of vampires as she bared her fangs. It was almost unsettling to see the most playful woman of Armand’s coven to suddenly get to angry, yet it made sense considering she was rather fond of her Maître’s companion.
