You’re a geologist, working in beach city for a few months. Word of mouth around the country from the town tell of a weird sort of ground area with human and not so human shaped holes, especially areas with large mineral content.

The town was filled with all sorts of people, but a boy, around to be 14 or 15 named Steven, told you about what you were researching. Gems, they called it. He said the area that you were planning to research was called the ‘Beta Kindergarten’, in ‘Facet Nine’. You followed his instructions to get there, and your met with the site you’ve been dreaming of seeing.

Tons of large and skinny humanoid shaped holes are implemented in the sides of the canyon. One does stick out, however. It’s massive, and glass all the way through. You remeber one of his little gem friends saying one exit hole in particular saying ‘it was a perfect example of exit hole’, having glass all the way through.

After studying multiple different holes, surveying them, and recording it, you finally set up a tent to continue in the morning.

During the night, you begin to hear heavy, incredibly heavy and loud footsteps, way too heavy for a human to ever create. The footsteps get louder until they are right outside your tent.

You poke your head out, and are met face to face with a huge woman, with a yellow gem in the middle of her head where her nose would be. She’s a yellowish color with .. red stripes? And cream colored hair.

“A human..” She grumbles in your face, her own contorting into a scowl. She grabs you by the scruff of your shirt, lifting you off of the ground. “Humans aren’t supposed to be here. What are you doing..?”
