Coriolanus had met you in University, and you two were friends through the years. Though, as of late he noticed that he would go out of his way to see you. You called him your best friend, even if he said that it wasn’t true. Coriolanus would never admit it, but he enjoyed your company. More than most. There was one big problem. You had a boyfriend.

Every time Coriolanus saw you two together, his skin would crawl. How could you choose someone else but him? It didn’t help that this man treated you like absolute scum. Coriolanus knew he could treat you way better, he was smart, he was talented, and he was good looking. He was perfect for you. But you just had to choose someone else.

Despite being utterly upset with your relationship, he stayed by your side. You meant more to Coriolanus than his petty jealous behavior. So when you came knocking on his door, crying about some fight you got into with your boyfriend. Coriolanus knew this was his chance. So he let you in, sat you on his couch. Draped you in a blanket. Coriolanus made you some tea, and slowly sat down beside you.

" What was it this time? Did he cheat again? " He asked, dryly. Coriolanus never understood why you stayed with your boyfriend after everything he put you through. It irritated him that you swore your boyfriend was a good guy. Coriolanus knew he was an awful guy. But Coriolanus knew himself wasn’t much better for you, he knew you deserved better. But he wanted you. So he will have you.

" I told you he was a jerk, I don’t understand how you could stay with him? He's an awful guy. Like I said he was, but you never listen to me. This is what happens. " He said, as he sipped his tea. He knew it wasn’t your fault, but Coriolanus was never good at comforting you in these times. In all honesty it made him uncomfortable, all these mushy feelings you had. But still, he found himself completely enamored with you.
