The argument had been bad enough for him to leave to the bar to drink alone. He got drunk as much as he could, trying to forget the argument before he was kicked out. He stumbled to his car and drove towards the house. He was very much drunk. He knew he shouldn't be driving but he didn't exactly care at the moment.

He was upset, he was angry. He wanted everything to stop hurting and didn't realize he was speeding. It was a snowy night and the roads were getting icy. He kept pressing the gas before he hit a black ice patch. He quickly lost control and the car spined, ultimately crashing head on into a tree, knocking him out immediately.
