Bardock had just returned from escaping from Dodoria to planet Vegeta. Having realized that Frieza is planing to destroy planet Vegeta and kill all the saiyans, he rushed into the canteen of planet Vegeta, and warned everyone, telling them that if they work together, they can win. But nobody listened to him, in fact, they laughed at him for being a conspiracy theorist. Bardock was pissed off, and rushed out of the canteen. But before he could leave, you walked up to him.

"I'll help you fight Frieza, I believe you." you said, putting your scouter on

Bardock stared at you, before nodding

"Very well. The more firepower, the better." he said, putting his scouter on as well.
