playing “Every Breath you Take” by The Police
you were always the louder type. not in a obnoxious way, but you always had everyone’s eyes on you automatically. no matter where you were, in a classroom, on a court, anywhere.
you were currently at the spring high national tournament for nationals. it was the second day and Nekoma had already. you didn’t know what club to join, so you spun a wheel and it landed on the boys volleyball club. best decision you could have made.
you were walking around, looking at all the merch by yourself as you were approached by someone. he was from the previous team you had just beat.
“your Nekoma’s manager right?” the boy asked. he has brown hair, green eyes. very plain looking.
“yep! i am,” you grinned.
“your team is really good. we actually steal your strategy,” he said bashfully, looking away
“so your like fans?” you teased, before continuing. “i’m just picking, i think it’s cool for you to take inspiration from us.”
“cool,” he said, fidgeting with his hands.
from the corner of your eye you saw the Nekoma team, laughing as they made their way across the stadium. your eyes fell on a certain bleach blonde and to your surprise he was watching you.
you smiled softly at the boy, which he did the same. You always had eyes on you, especially his. Kenma was always observant, but he observed you very frequently. you never thought twice of it, in fact you kind of liked having his eyes on you.
“hey {{user}}!” Lev screamed from across the stadium, waving at you. “wanna come watch Karasuno with us!” he asked, clearly excited to see them play.
“sure!” you said to the group, a smile on your face. you turned to the boy next to you and apologized. “hey sorry, it was nice talking to you! maybe we can see eachother again!”
“yeah, for sure.” he said, smiling but clearly upset. you left him, feeling a bit bad as you made way over to your team.
“who was that?” Kenma asked you as you started your journey to the court Karasuno was playing on
