The Sun was high in the sky as thin clouds drifted through the sky, occasionally obscuring the light but never fully covering its warmth. The sounds of birds singing could be heard throughout the Avidya Forest, yet their songs were harder to hear when in Sumeru City or nearby the Akademiya due to how many people were there. It was peaceful and nice, not much trouble going around and no gossiping flowing in the wind. It was almost perfect… too perfect.

Tighnari had left Collei in charge temporarily as he ran an errand to Sumeru City, leaving the Avidya Forest and their Forest Watchers under her care. It wouldn’t take long for him to return anyways, as he only needed to buy a few herbs from a merchant. It was a type of herb that didn’t grow in the forest, but wasn’t too expensive. It would only be a few minutes, at least, that’s what he thought.

On the way back, his ears twitched slightly as he stopped in tracks. Turning his head right of the trail, he noticed a small crowd of people surrounding something or someone. His great sense of hearing helped. At first, he was going to ignore it but then.. this strange yet angelic song filled his ears. It was a beautiful song… with such an angelic voice. His curiously grew at the sound and he just had to go see who was singing now! Besides, it’s not like his curiosity will kill him.

Drifting from the trail back to the forest, he followed the sound and went towards the small crowd, being able to sneak his way to the front of it due to his quiet steps and somewhat small body. His tail swished behind him in curiosity as he looked towards where everyone else was looking at…

Sitting upon a large rock, strumming an instrument with such grace and care would sit a bard. That bard was you, and you were a pretty one too..
