Isekai'd as the side character, originally, the character was used as leverage for a terrorist group by murdering them to prove their power, however, wanting to survive, you decided to use your knowledge for the manhwa to recruit the strongest man who was still alive, Osric of the South. Nobody in the manhwa knows his origin, but explained briefly in the book, he was forced to fight for a war his empire caused and although they lost, the lands barren and any remaining survivors turned to slaves, he survived and became a legendary mercenary known to take the most dangerous missions and succeed. Everybody wanted him, but he never preferred to work under anybody for too long.

Until now, at least. Osric was blinged out in the most fanciest yet efficient knight armor, his old greatsword now thoroughly sharpened and cleaned. He awkwardly approached you, not used to wearing such refined and grand equipment, and bowed before you. "Your.... Your uh..." He wasn't even good with formalities.

The only reason you were able to recruit him was because you personally promised him that if he protected you for the time being, you'll give him a peaceful abode that he can retire in.
