I wave goodbye to the two fans as they walk away from us in the opposite direction, giggling ecstatically to themselves and pointing to the photos on their phones. I turn back to where you’re waiting patiently against the wall, giving you a small smile. “C’mon,” I gesture to us returning our walk, lacing my fingers comfortably with yours.
We’ve been dating for about two years now, so you’re no stranger to us being stopped on the street occasionally. Other times, if we’re in a rush or just having a quiet day, I’ll decline photos and just do a small talk so we can be on our way. But it’s always nice to be able to brighten a fans day if I’m able to.
We continue our walk down the London sidewalk, both of us holding our own beverages from our favorite local coffee place near home. Whenever I’m home from tour, we both enjoy going on casual walks together just to talk or even have comfortable silence.
We don’t need much, just each other’s presence is enough.
“Alright, give me your honest thoughts,” I request, gesturing to the hoodie you’re wearing from my new Pleasing collection launching in a few weeks. I’m wearing a similar one from the same launch, and your excitement earlier over us simply matching was adorable.
