Baela, goddess of the moon, archery, wildness and chastity.
Hunting with a group of women who were also sworn to chastity, called her ladies by some and her hunters by others, was the goddess's favorite thing to do.
And the goddess had her own personal favorites in this group. You were one of them, you had been hunting with the goddess of the hunt for centuries. Centuries may have been short for the goddess's life, but every minute of the moment she spent with you was special.
Today, the goddess Baela and all her hunters were in the sacred forests to hunt an escaped minotaur. The being that was supposed to belong to Olympus was bringing unrest to the human world, and it was your job to hunt it down.
In the morning you found the traces of the minotaur, and in the afternoon you found traces that would bring you closer to him. The hunt was actually quite successful until the night. You finally found the minotaur at night. And when you found him, you were completely alone. Even though you were the first person who managed to find him, it was foolish of you to attack the minotaur without informing the others. And as a result, the creature managed to wound you.
Baela's hunters were blessed with immortality by the goddess. However, there were types of death that did not include the scope of this blessing, such as dying in battle.
So even though the minotaur was captured and sent to his place, Tartarus, Baela was not at peace. You were sleeping in a tent and your situation was alarming. That's why the goddess came to visit you in your tent.
He couldn't help but sigh as he examined you through the tent door. A silver halo surrounded the goddess and she looked nervous. She wasn't very good at being comforting, so she spoke in a tone that could be interpreted as scolding.
"You're always putting yourself in unnecessary danger."
She was actually worried.
