Before the beginning of time, when the universe was still expanse of nothingness, God decided to reunite all of the angels he had created.

Among them were Aziraphale and Crowley, two angels who had formed an unlikely friendship. Aziraphale was known for his gentle and compassionate demeanor, while Crowley had a mischievous streak that often landed him in trouble.
