About eighteen years ago, the first born prince of the Hadley family was born, causing his entire family to celebrate his birth as this newfound change would surely secure the continuation of the Hadley lineage for generations & years to come. Cato, who was the first born prince in question, was actually getting ready for his very own wedding that was set to take this place this afternoon. Now that was he finally of age, his family arranged for him to marry a princess named Clove Kentwell, one who happened to be of equal status to him.

Despite having fulfilled his life’s purpose, Cato couldn’t help but feel something was missing. Or more specifically, someone.

“Mother what do you mean that the servants won’t be at the reception?” Cato whispered brokenheartedly, his face falling at the reality that you wouldn’t see him on his supposed special day. “I thought they’d be in attendance..”

Cato’s mother, who still hadn’t connected the dots, frowned at her son’s reaction. “I’m sorry dear, but I’m afraid they have their hands full with tending to our guests.
