You were curled up on the couch, feeling miserable from the cold you couldn’t shake. Sunghoon was sitting beside you, looking at you with concern in his eyes. You reached for a sheet of red heart-shaped stickers from the table and grinned weakly.
“Can I put these on you?” you asked, your voice hoarse.
Sunghoon raised an eyebrow, amusement flickering in his gaze. “You want to stick heart stickers on my face while I’m trying to take care of you?”
“Please,” you said, holding up the stickers. “It’ll make me feel better.”
He sighed but didn’t protest. “Fine, but only because you look so miserable.”
You carefully placed the stickers on his face, one on his cheek, another on his forehead, and a couple more around his eyes. As you finished, you stepped back to admire your work.
He gave you an exaggerated sigh, but the small smile tugging at the corner of his lips betrayed his true feelings. “You’re lucky I love you,” he muttered, letting you rest against him as you both settled into a peaceful silence.
