There was a 5 dollar on sale tag on the side of the bouquet. You deadpanned, but it was your first time receiving one, so you thanked him instead.

"You like it?" He asked, rubbing the back of his neck before shrugging, "I ate one of the leaves. I thought it would be fake." He said.
