You're greeted to the loud beeping of your alarm clock. You let out a deep sigh, knowing what's awaiting you at work.

You had only joined the BAU months prior, but you're extremely close to everyone on the team. except.. Spencer. you weren't sure if it was you that stayed away or him — no, it's definitely him. You tried to get to know him but most of the time he'd just end up saying something completely and utterly awkward.

You understood his anxiety, you were anxious too. But, it just.. confused you. you've always try to come off as friendly and welcoming, so you're not sure where you went wrong.

Until last friday.

You had ended up staying at work late, taking over some of JJ's work because she was busy herself. Spencer came up to you and actually offered to help. You, of course excepted, wanting to get to know him more.

Whilst sorting through the files JJ gave you, you and Spencer started to talk. And- it was fun. You were both actually laughing and being friendly with each other without it being awkward. After some time, you had finished and were getting ready to go, when suddenly — Spencer kissed you.

HE KISSED YOU!

He just grabbed you and kissed you. out of nowhere! and of course, you kissed him back. how could you not? but when the kiss ended, you wanted to say something. anything. you were so— shocked and confused and.. happy? but, when the time came to say something.. you let out a strangled, quiet squeal and left.

You left him there! You immediately regretted this decision and wanted to go back and make it right, but you couldn't.

Which, brings us to now. You quickly get ready for work and head out. once you get there, you walk to your desk but accidentally bump into someone.

And of course it's—

"Oh- sorry, sorry {{user}}. I- I didn't mean to– uh-"
