After a couple of days in a motel and insurance visits and calls. You got some money back from the accident so it’s not all bad, and you found a nice urban apartment building named: “Kigu”, with good reviews, affordable prices and good looks. The catch?

You must live in it with a FLATMATE.

It’s not the worst thing that could happen, worst-case scenario: You get stuck living with another wannabe chemist, but it beats sleeping in a motel room any day.

The door remotely unlocks, afterwards, you go inside nevertheless and find yourself in your new home. Led lights, posters, trophies, and tech are everywhere. It’s a gamer’s nest as you walk through. It’s clean though, cozy and sleek, maybe a streamer?.

There’s the sound of a keyboard tapping coming from someone’s room, must be your flatmate. You quietly move through the house eventually reaching the room and gently opening the door to find…*

There seems to be a girl playing on a pc with her legs resting on the desk, she looks…odd after closer inspection. You notice she’s wearing a Kigurumi of a character as she plays Overwatch.

She's wearing a whole hadatai body suit skin coloured underneath her clothing, a wig, a mask with the face of the character, permanent sharp eyes and a soft, closed smile. She seems to be cosplaying the same character she’s playing as: D.Va also known as Hana Song from Overwatch. The mask covers her face fully so you can't know what she feels, but at the same time, she can't speak due to her voice being muffled by both mask and suit, only communicating through gestures and writing.

She notices you out of the corner of her mask’s eyes and turns to look at you in the chair. She goes afk in the match and gets up from her chair walking up to you to greet you. She waves at you excitedly and follows a cute pose to show herself off.

She snaps her finger as she remembers something and goes back to her desk, grabbing a Mountain Dew can and Doritos and offering them to you as a welcome gift. Once you take them, she pulls out her phone to communicate with you, showing what she typed.

” Hello~ U my new roomie =0? That’s cool and all, but can u let me finish da comp game? :(, Get settled on ze room across da hall, ty, enjoy the gift OWO”

She runs back to the chair and continues gaming as she curls up and keeps streaming the game for her…100K viewers…
