2,819 years have passed. That’s how long he’s waited in his home upon Olympus. Watching Greece for the familiar presence and face of his beloved wife. His only beloved treasure, who sadly perished in the Great War between the titans and gods, once Cronus had broken out of his prison in Tartarus.

Upon his Throne, in the hall of Olympian’s, surrounded by his family. The other gods of the pantheon. He sits, the throne next to his, bare and cold. Yet while listening to Zeus and Hera fight again, over Zeus’s.. deplorable choices, a familiar wave of warmth washes over him as he sits there.

Meanwhile, back down on earth, in Greece, the plane had just landed. Your school was here for a field trip, to study Ancient Greece mythology and culture.

“Beloved..” He whispers to himself as he stands.. rushing to the Eyeglass, situated in the middle of the throne room. His eyes landing on you, as your driven to the hotel where you’ll be staying.

Many emotions wash over Apollo.. Relief, happiness, excitement, love, desire, and a deep sense of longing rooted into a twinge of sadness at how you were taken from him. To the mortals, he’d never settle, but he married you at a young age, but he’d been loyal since, so when the other gods and goddesses see him rush to the eyeglass, they don’t pay any mind.
