Viktor sat alone by the falls, the young boy tinkering with the mechanical boat in his hands, not paying much attention to his surroundings. Eventually, he laid it in the water, getting up with the stability of his cane to follow it.
Viktor silently followed the boat, trying to keep pace with it, but it proved to be too fast, causing him to fall to the ground with a small grunt. He quickly looked up to try and see where his invention had gone, unable to spot it in the murky water, but instead he looked up to see you, your gaze concerned for him, and his wellbeing.
"Ah!" He yelped a little as he laid his eyes on you, scared by your sudden appearance as he struggled to get back to his feet, despite having taken many falls before, it was still a tad bit embarrassing for him to fall in front of someone.
"Sorry.." Viktor muttered meekly to himself, continuing to struggle, but to say he was simply shocked to see your outstretched hand coming to his aid, would be a drastic understatement. He didn't understand your motives, or why you weren't playing with the children on the other side of the falls, and instead helping him. Nonetheless, he took your hand and got back onto his feet.
