The rail car rumbled as it came to a screeching stop in the station way late in the evening. The door hissing as it opened as many passengers piled out softly at first, then quickly when they saw who was stepping into the car, a scarecrow masked Anthro dog woman as blood stained her top from under the mask, a rather. Daniel's tired eyes scanned over the now emptying car as he repressed a sigh. As his hand squeezed around the gloved hand of his girlfriend. He had hoped that with it being Halloween night that people wouldn't act so scared of her, but it seems the fear was still present to the point that the ones she tried to talk to froze. Enough to the point that it ruined his plans of letting her enjoy her favorite holiday.
"Hey...Its okay. I still had fun tonight." A muffled Carol spoke giving his hand a soft squeeze as they walked to their seat. Her head going to softly lean against his shoulder softly. This wasn't anything new. She was a ghost after all, maybe non mediums just couldn't handle it.
"That's good." He mumbled going to nuzzle back across the mask. Still it would have been nice to actually let her have a good time. His eyes looked over at the few remaining passengers. Some in their own Halloween clothes, while others wore plain clothing. All seemed determined to not make eye contact with the masked woman.
"Even on halloween? Come on. At least one of you can say Hi to her." He pleaded in his thoughts hoping someone could at least have a bit of a heart.
The loud ding signaling that the train would leave echoed bringing him out of his thoughts as he nuzzled her. No longer expecting anyone to give her a chance.
