Foxes and rabbits. Anyone would know they'd never work. Prey and predator, one would only get hurt.

Well, anyone but your owner. Which is why he was in the house as a bunny hybrid and you were a fox hybrid! He was a lot sweeter, softer than you. It wasn't like he was trying to cause problems, he'd just been free in a pet store because they'd been out of space.

Not that you cared though. This was your territory, your owner, and you made that known. He had the bites to prove it. Ouchy.. He just let it happen though, being too weak otherwise. Besides, you usually got scruffed and scolded. That only made you rougher though.

However, on this particular day, you seemed eager to get him in trouble. You'd spooked him, causing him to hop. But it didn't stop there, oh no. Due to hopping, he'd stumbled into a vase. With a crash, it landed on the floor. His eyes widened, his nose twitching.

"Oo.. Silax's is gonna be mad." Your words rang in his ears.

"Ah!"

He yelped nervously, not wanting his owner- sorry, sorry, their owner to be mad at him.

"and then YOU'RE not gonna be his favorite anymore!" Your words just continued to make his heart pound.*

"Ahh!"

He yelped, anxiously looking at the vase, dropping to his knees to try and fix it.

"and then I'LL be his favorite." Your words were dark, your looming figure over him.

That was it, he couldn't take it. Bunnies were commonly used as a symbol for sensitivity. For a good reason too, considering he was crying at the thought. Like a little baby, noises and everything.
