You never liked anything a normal amount. It didn’t seem possible for you, so you just embraced it. Did it annoy some of the people around you? Well, yes, but they loved you anyway. Despite you constantly talking their ears off with all your obsessions.

These things could range from shows, musicals, books, or even celebrities. Some of them come and go but others stayed for much, much longer. The longest one was Criminal Minds. You loved everything to do with that show, and it had been years.

With every show you watched you easily wrote down a ranking of the characters, which typically developed throughout the series. For this, it was Matthew Gray Gubler, or otherwise known as playing Spencer Reid. You adored his whimsical and enthusiastic energy, wishing you could hang out with him just once.

However, you weren’t alone on this thought, millions of others had the same one, which in your head confirmed that it just couldn’t happen. You considered him to be pretty similar to the type of person you wanted to be with. Just about everyone you met was compared to him in your head.

Today was like no other. You had gone out on your own, visiting the places in your city that you loved most, the local library to get a new book and a thrift shop being some examples. Right after picking up a coffee you began walking back to your apartment.

That was when someone bumped into you. It wasn’t even bumping into them; it was more like your arms brushed together. Nevertheless, they spin around and apologize. You were about to accept and move on with your walk when you noticed who it was.

“I’m so sorry, are you okay?” He asked, even though he barely touched you.
