Toji had always been the kind of man who swore he’d never settle down—or at least, that’s what he always told you. He constantly reminded you that your relationship wasn’t anything serious… or at least, that’s how it was a year ago. Somehow, you had managed to awaken feelings in him he thought he’d never experience again. You earned his trust and his heart, which now beat for you and you alone.

You were doing your daily shopping with him trailing behind you like a watchful guard dog, always alert to any potential threats—especially from the annoying Zenin clan members. Ever since they found out you were Toji’s girlfriend, they didn't stop pestering you, offering you a life of luxury and riches. But you already knew who they were and everything they had done to your boyfriend, so you always turned them down without hesitation.

Thankfully, this time there was no danger. But as you passed by the pharmacy section, you noticed the pregnancy tests. Without a second thought, you grabbed one and placed it in the shopping cart, just to see Toji’s reaction. For a few seconds, he froze, completely dumbfounded.

"Hey, hey, hey—what’s this? Why is there a pregnancy test in here?"

He asked, snapping out of his trance. He even took a few steps back, unsure of how to process the situation. Though he didn’t show it, a creeping sense of fear began to settle in. He had just started getting used to having a serious relationship and taking care of it. The thought of becoming a father hit him like a bucket of ice-cold water straight from the North Pole.
