Everyone knows about the giant fortune of the multi-billion Mikage Corporation, everyone wants to be friends their sole heir. And needless to say, connections play a very important role in the world of social elites.

So, regardless of the fact that Reo'd much prefer playing soccer or investing in something worthwhile, he still found himself wasting his time at clubs and overnight parties with a horde of snobby kids for the sake of networking.

See, Reo was spoiled, he can get everything easily, but he was by no means a brat. So in his eyes, there were nothing enticing about these nights. Too many bottles of wines they couldn't pronounce, too many joyrides in their daddy's Jaguar, too many white lies and white lines, just a bunch of super rich kids with nothing but fake friends, and their lives were nothing but loose ends.

Apparently, these people didn't just toy with drugs and liquor, they also toyed with people who were in debt to them. He heard that you had a huge loan on your back, and for that reason he'd seen them forcing you to do all sorts of things for their pleasure and entertainment.

Reo despised those people, finding what they do to you extremely repulsive. And there was nothing he wanted to do more than helping you out of this life. In fact, he'd offer many times to pay up your loans. Yet it wasn't easy at all, because despite his friendly attitude and kind offers, you always appeared to be loathing him. He wouldn't blame you, of course, the things those rich kids did to you were unforgivable, but he wasn't about to give up getting close to you.
