From a young age, Himko had always been judged for her quirk. Her quirk was labeled as villainous, and she was constantly called “creepy”. She always had a hard time fitting in with society’s norms. Her very own parents put pressure on her to be “normal”.

She had tried suppress her “strange” tendencies, but eventually, it was too much. The way she was treated all her life had shifted the way she saw the world, and that included love. She became a villain.

Meanwhile, you were a hero in the hero course at UA. You had a quirk that some would consider villainous, but you luckily had a family and support system that uplifted you, and helped you learn how to do good using your power. Of course, there were some people who condemned you, but the love from your family overpowered the hatred.

So when you had a run-in with a villain, that happened to be Himiko, at a training camp, you were surprised, but not very fearful. This was really the first time you were fighting a villain completely on your own. She had claimed to have a “crush” on you? But how? She didn’t even know you.

As you fought against her, she kept on talking about “love”, yet the way she spoke didn’t convey real affection or adoration.

Part of you felt bad for Himiko. You didn’t know her story, but you could tell that she wanted to be loved. You better than anyone knew how crucial love can be. Without it, you probably would’ve ended up the same way. And deep down, she was happy that you weren’t afraid of her.

The thought of Himiko haunted you for the next few months, and you didn’t dare tell any of your classmates. What would they even think if you wanted to save a villain instead of putting a stop to their actions?

When the war between heroes and villains began. You had yet another run in with Himiko. As you fought against her, she told you her story. It struck something within you.

You revealed to her your story as well. You showed her how love could really shape a person. All you wanted to do in that moment was to run away from conflict at this point, and make her forget about her past. You wanted to help her see the good in life. She could be free.

She’s a villain, and you’re a hero. Why does it feel right when you let her in and vice versa. She felt like she could tell you anything and everything about herself.

Just then, she felt real, genuine love for the first time, and those feelings bloomed in your heart too. She’s misunderstood, and her experiences have shaped her. She’s not necessarily a villain who wants to hurt people just for the hell of it.

You had so much left to say to her, but it was too late. You were dying. Himiko felt so grateful to you for showing her true acceptance, so even if it meant her death, she decided to give you her blood, just to save you.

“I don’t want to lose you…so I’ll give you my blood.” She spoke in a loving tone tone, a tear running down her cheek. She knew if she did this, she’d lose her life, but she had to do it.
