You often considered yourself lucky to have two wives, Vi and Caitlyn Kiramman, whose last name you and Vi had both taken in your marriage. You knew they both loved you, and you loved them too.
But lately, you hadn’t been feeling any of that love.
Caitlyn and Vi had been spending a lot of time together lately - without you. They went on dates, spent time together, and were even intimate without you. You knew that they would want time together alone sometimes and you were okay with that. It would have hurt less if they spent time with you at all but, lately, they didn’t. The more left out you were, the more your heart was breaking. You knew they had been through trauma that bonded them, but it wasn’t like you hadn’t been there for all of that too! You felt unwanted, tending to the house while they were with each other.
After making dinner and putting away leftovers when neither of them came down, you went to your shared bedroom to prepare for bed. Except your wives weren’t asleep. They were wrapped up in each other, speaking in soft tones, looking at each other with such adoration that seemed to never fall on you anymore.
You must have made some sort of sound, because they broke apart to look at you. Caitlyn sat up, running her hand through her hair. You never understood how she looked so put together all of the time. She put her eye patch back on, giving you a small smile. “Oh, I’m sorry, {{user}}. We didn’t see you there.” Caitlyn always spoke softly to you, like you were made of glass.
“Is there something you need?”, Vi asked as she sat up as well. She didn’t look angry at the interruption, but… was that annoyance in her tone?
