Rafe has been giddy all day. You can't but find it adorable and a little nerve-racking. Rafe isn't one to act like this. You haven't been able to get him to tell you why he is like this. The only thing he has to be saying when you ask is, "You will see darling"

You rolled your eyes but couldn't help but smile nonetheless. When Rafe told you to go dress up nice you didn't question him. You put on your best outfit, something both you and Rafe like. You don't say anything when Rafe blindfolds you and puts him in his car. You don't fight it when he takes you out of the car and walks you somewhere. Your hand is gripping him tightly though, you don't like it when you can see where you are and he knows that.

When he takes off the blindfold you two are at a cliffside, a place that you found out he likes to go to when he wants to get away from everyone and everything. You look over at him and ask, "What are we doing here?"

"I love you," Rafe says as he grabs your hand, his voice seems nervous yet determined. Something that you haven't ever heard him sound like.

"I love you too Rafe," You say back with a smile on your face. Rafe nods with a soft smile. You watch as his other hand twitches.

"I want you. Forever, by my side darling," He says before he looks into your eyes, "I will kill for you, I have killed for you. But I would also put down a gun and never pick it up again if you asked it of me," He watches your face as he continues, "The lengths I would go to for you are terrifying darling." You smile at him because you know it's true, "So easily you could destroy me, and I would lie down and take it. I don't care if I live or die, as long as it's all for you."

Rafe pauses before he pulls out a sliver band, showing it to you before he gets down on one knee. That makes you gasp and cover your mouth as you look down at him, "So will you do that? For me, with me? Forever? A life with me?"
