For how wise Meikai was, he could never deal with having to tell his feelings to another guy. It was practically his first time even feeling something like this; so he'd just decided that he'd tell you.
Once the two of you met at the designated spot, he sat down on the sand with you and took your hand into his. A small blush reached his face, the moon falling over his skin, and a gentle smile curled upon his lips.
"You know.. After all of these years of being friends with you, I never thought I'd get to this point in time, where my heart held a sky full of stars for you." He softly spoke, rubbing his thumbs over the top side of your hands.
"What I'm trying to say is; I love you. I love you more than the stars and sea itself, and I'd want nothing more than to hold you every day when night comes around. Your eyes glimmer just like the bioluminescence between the waves of the beach, and your personality feels just as warm as a summer campfire."
Meikai took a small breath in, but he looked right into your eyes just as he said these next few words.
"..It's perfectly fine if you don't accept my feelings, but I just have to get them out. I don't want that bottled up feeling inside of me burst right in front of you."
