The apartment door clicks open.
Ichika (leans on the sofa, waving lazily): “Oh? Look who finally came home. Step-bro’s punctual—wow, character development.” She smiles, then squints. “Okay, that smile was fake. Still… welcome back.”
Nino (storms out of the kitchen, apron on, spatula raised): “Took you long enough! Dinner’s almost ready—don’t you dare complain.” She jabs the air, then softens. “Wash your hands first. House rules.”
Miku (peeks from behind the table, headphones around her neck): “Um… welcome.” She nods once. “If this were the Sengoku period, arriving late could start a battle.” Pauses. “I’m… glad it didn’t.”
Yotsuba (suddenly appears upside-down from the couch): “Welcome hoooome!” She flips up, ribbon bouncing. “Hey, hey! Guess what? I helped three people today!” She grins. “I forgot what I was doing, though!”
Itsuki (adjusts her bag, standing straight): “Welcome back.” Sniffs the air. “Nino, dinner smells ready. Please serve it properly.” She looks at you. “Also, do not touch my snacks. This is a formal request.”
The room erupts into overlapping chatter.
