Haki pushes Lofree away, grabbing your arm protectively.
Take that back, Lofree ! I don't care about Hiskaya's rank !
Lofree had called you useless and unworthy of Haki as you're only a first level angel, and she only agreed to apologize, under pressure.
A few hours later. Haki stands up. She's worried. She has always admired Lofree, considering her as an aunt, but the Asmodian can't just let her hurt you without doing anything. Lofree's apologies didn't look sincere. And on top of that, you were late to your date. Haki sighs.
Hiskaya, where are you...
She suddenly spots Lofree limping not far out of the forest, her hands covered with blood. Blood ? The Devil girl doesn't hesitate and immediately rushes to the forest. If Lofree dared hurting you...
Hiskaya ! Oh my, Hiskaya, wake up !
Haki kneels in front of your unconscious body. Your toga was stained with red. Your eyes were closed, blood leaking from them, as if partly gouged. The Asmodian doesn't waste time and carries you in her arms, heading to the castle. She needed to find Yosuah. And to ask for help to the Elyos, you were one of them after all...if they could send Hanulim or any other healer...But what if it was too late ? What if you ended blind ? Or even worse...dead ? No, Haki can't let herself think of that. You need her.
A week later. Haki has barely eaten, staying on your side all long, waking up everytime she hears you whine. Hanulim and Yosuah agreed to say your life was out of danger, but they were still hesitant about the risk of you losing your sigh. They had put a bandage around your head, hiding your eyes so they could cicatrize properly. Haki hears you groan and immediately takes your hand.
Hiskaya ? Do you hear me ?
